Consulting that ends in a deliverable, not a presentation

Four packages, each stating what we hand over and how long it takes. The result is a document your organisation can use straight away — even if you take the work no further with us.

Packages

Four consulting packages

Scope and cost depend on the size of your organisation and the number of systems to review, and are agreed after the first working session. That session is free of charge.

Digital transformation roadmap

A target architecture and an implementation sequence for the next two to three years.

4 weeks

Deliverables

  • The target system architecture
  • An implementation sequence by phase, with dependencies between items
  • A budget estimate for each phase
  • A set of indicators to measure the outcome of each phase

Suited to organisations that know the problem but need it sequenced and costed.

Data platform assessment

A review of your existing data sources and an assessment of whether your organisation yet needs a lakehouse architecture.

3 weeks

Deliverables

  • An inventory of data sources, volumes and update frequencies
  • An assessment of data quality at each source
  • A proposed architecture, sized to real demand
  • An implementation roadmap organised by business domain

Suited to organisations where reports are compiled by hand or are slowing down operational systems.

Import-export settlement risk review

Reconciling declaration figures, consumption norms and stock to find discrepancies before the customs authority inspects.

3 weeks

Deliverables

  • A sample reconciliation of declarations, consumption norms and actual stock
  • A discrepancy report, classified by risk level
  • Recommended action for each group of discrepancies

For export processing enterprises and export manufacturing operations.

Process

Four steps, from the first meeting to hand-over

  1. First working session

We listen to the problem, define the scope and select the right package. Free of charge. If the problem falls outside our expertise, we say so at this step.

  2. Assessment

We work with your departments, examine the live systems, and read the existing documentation and figures. This takes the most time and determines the quality of the result.

  3. Analysis and reporting

We consolidate the findings, rank them by impact and by the effort to resolve them, and estimate the cost of each item.

  4. Presentation and hand-over

We present to your executive board, answer questions and hand over the report. The report belongs to your organisation — using it to invite tenders from other suppliers is entirely open to you.

How we work

Why we charge for assessments

Many firms offer assessments free. We do not, and here is why.

A free assessment is usually a sales activity

When an assessment is unpaid, its cost has to sit somewhere else — usually in the implementation contract that follows. And the conclusions of that assessment can hardly avoid pointing to exactly what the assessor wants to sell.

Paid work can conclude "do not do this"

Our report may conclude that your organisation should not invest yet, or should choose an option we play no part in. That can only be said when the assessment work has been paid for.

The result belongs to your organisation

The report we hand over is your organisation's property. Use it for internal planning, for a budget request, or as tender documentation for another supplier — there are no strings attached.

The first working session is free of charge

We listen to the problem, define the scope and select the right package. If the problem falls outside our expertise, we say so in that session.
